Put it where your life happens.

In the living room

In the living room

Fills rooms up to 35 m² with a full-range sound most compact speakers can't reach.

On your desk

On your desk

Accurate soundstage tuned for near-field listening. Music while you work, properly.

On a bookshelf

On a bookshelf

Slides between the books, close to the wall — the bass stays deep and controlled.

Why it works: the large-diameter front port has a carefully tuned geometry and length, so it keeps its composure at higher volumes instead of compressing or chuffing.

The dedicated bass driver

Hear the notes other small speakers skip.

Typical compact two-way speakers roll off around 50–55 Hz. Below that line, you don't hear the note itself — only its overtones. Xyla reaches 38 Hz in a normal room. Toggle to see what that means for real instruments.

For the technically curious

In practice for higher volumes, low-frequency output of a compact speaker is limited less by voice-coil power handling and more by how far the cone can move cleanly. Xyla's 171 mm Peerless woofer is a long-excursion design crossed low, so the SB Acoustics midrange never has to double as a bass driver and the Peerless driver works well even at high volumes.

The stated 38 Hz is an in-room figure at −3 dB. We'd rather tell you the honest number you'll actually experience.

Why it sounds bigger than it looks

Three decisions behind the sound.

A shape chosen by physics, finished by a designer.

0parallel walls

Acoustics-first shape

A shape chosen by physics, finished by a designer.

Inside the cabinet there is not a single pair of parallel surfaces, so sound waves can't bounce back and forth and build into resonances. What looks like sculpture is actually the quietest possible box.

For the technically curious

Eliminating parallel walls suppresses standing waves at their source rather than damping them after the fact. The form was developed over more than a year with designer Ondřej Pechal.

One seamless shell. Nothing to rattle, flex or colour the sound.

0kg per pair

Monocoque enclosure

One seamless shell. Nothing to rattle, flex or colour the sound.

Xyla's body is a single continuous structure — no panels, no glued joints. You hear the drivers, not the cabinet. The solid 14 kg of a pair also means it sits planted, even with the bass working hard.

For the technically curious

The unibody's organic geometry is inherently stiffer than a flat-panel box of the same volume and perfectly airtight. Terminals are massive, gold-plated and individually mounted.

Every driver does one job — so voices stay clear when you turn it up.

The woofer handles bass alone. The midrange covers the frequencies your ear is most sensitive to, undisturbed. A 40 kHz tweeter adds air and detail. That division of labour is why Xyla stays composed where two-way speakers start to strain.

SB Acoustics 19 mm textile-dome tweeter (neodymium magnet) and 100 mm paper-cone midrange in a cast chassis; Peerless 171 mm high-excursion woofer. Phase-aligned parallel crossover includes Jantzen Audio Superior capacitors and Superes resistors; internal wiring by Jantzen Audio in silver-plated OFC copper with Teflon insulation.

What it actually sounds like

Detailed, but never tiring.

Clean, transparent mids

Clean, transparent mids

Each driver works only in its comfort zone, so distortion stays low. Voices and acoustic instruments sound natural, hour after hour.

Deep, firm bass

Deep, firm bass

The dedicated woofer gives bass real weight and grip — controlled even at high volume, not just loud.

Accurate soundstage

Precise phase alignment places instruments in space in front of you. Works beautifully both across a room and up close at a desk.

The parts you'll never see

We didn't cut corners where you can't look.

A crossover is the brain of a loudspeaker — and it's sealed inside the cabinet, invisible for the product's whole life. Nobody would ever know if we used cheap parts there. You would only hear it.

So Xyla's crossover is built from components normally found in speakers with much higher price tag, phase-aligned and carefully fine-tuned by listening — no compromises hidden behind the drivers.
